Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Risk Model Lead to
manage a team focused on insurance risk modeling and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Parameterize underwriting risk excluding natural catastrophe
risk
Build and maintain underwriting risk models
Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to develop risk
analytic tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or near-FCAS
designation preferred
5-10 years of progressively responsible experience, including
supervisory experience
Knowledge of underwriting concepts and their importance to business
success
Expertise in MS Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA);
experience with R and Python is a plus
